| 授業概要 /Course description |
The course aims to prepare students to think critically and independently, conduct independent research, and manage their learning effectively. Students will set their own goals and work towards developing the skills necessary to succeed in university while developing basic research skills through individual, pair, and group work. Throughout the course, students will learn about various fundamental sociological concepts – such as norms, socialization, or conformity – and use them to analyze their own experiences. Students will learn how to look at what they take for granted from new perspectives, think about points of view that are different from their own, and see their everyday lives and society through the critical lens. Students will also learn how to develop their own ideas in communication with classmates, and work on being able to express themselves clearly. |
